Biography
Friso Roscam Abbing is the Senior Adviser on Strategic Communication of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA). He is Curator of the Fundamental Rights Forum 2024. He was previously a spokesperson on freedom, security and justice at the European Commission. Before, he led the EU Office of the European Council on Refugees and Exiles, a European network of 100+NGOs in 40 European countries.

Viacheslav Samonov is a lawyer and human rights defender working with various NGOs in Russia. He previously worked for the Nochlezhka charity on homelessness and statelessness of former USSR citizens. He is a former member of the public monitoring commission in St Petersburg, supervising conditions in detention centres. He also focuses on civil and LGBT+ rights, citizenship and discrimination issues.
