Biography
Thérèse Murphy is Professor of Law at Queen’s University Belfast. She is also the Raoul Wallenberg Visiting Professor at Lund University where she is part of a team focused on the future of human rights. She is also chair of the Global Campus’ European Master’s in Human Rights and Democratisation, and a member of the European Group on Ethics in Science and New Technologies.

Diana Nabiruma is a climate and environmental rights activist working with the Africa Institute for Energy Governance (AFIEGO), a Ugandan non-profit organisation. Her work involves empowering local communities at the frontlines of the climate and biodiversity crisis to pressure duty-bearers and corporations to take climate action while protecting biodiversity. Her efforts have won her various accolades.
